Referral Information

Pediatric Therapy Services

Pediatric therapy (Audiology, Occupational Therapy (OT), Physiotherapy (PT), and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)) services are available for children living in every region of the province through the Children’s Therapy Network of Manitoba (CTNM). Referrals are accepted from families, caregivers, or professionals.

Neurodevelopmental Services

Child Development Clinic (CDC)

The Child Development Clinic (CDC) is a diagnostic clinic that provides assessments for preschool children (prior to kindergarten entry) when there are complex developmental concerns in multiple developmental domains. For more information – download letter from CDC PDF (opens in new window).

Referrals are accepted from pediatricians, family physicians, and nurse practitioners.

Manitoba FASD Centre

The Manitoba FASD Centre provides assessment, diagnosis and short-term follow-up for children and youth living in Manitoba prior to 18 years of age. To make a referral, information is required to support pre-natal alcohol exposure and the child must also be presenting with complex behavioral concerns and/or concerns with their development, cognition, and/or learning. Referrals are accepted from pediatricians, family physicians, and nurse practitioners. Referrals will also be considered from other sources when needed.
